THE Natwest Platinum credit card, now available to all new applicants, offers a number of platinum cardholder features and benefits, plus some of the market's best introductory offers.

You no longer need to be a Natwest current account customer to qualify for this credit card - opening up the market-leading 0% balance transfer for 16 month offer to all UK residents who meet the minimum income and age requirements of £10,000 per annum and 18 years respectively.

0% Balance Transfers

The Natwest Platinum credit card is perfect for anyone wanting to transfer a balance. With 0% interest rates on balance transfers for a staggering 16 months - you'll have plenty of time to repay your card debts and get back on top of your finances. There is a transfer fee of 2.9% - however this is still one the best balance transfer offers on the market.

Anyone who doesn't have a balance to transfer can still enjoy 0% rates on purchases for the first 3 months. Once this period has finished, the Natwest Platinum credit card still receives awards for a 56 day interest-free period on purchases if you repay your balance in full each month.

Travel Services

For travellers, or holiday-makers, the Natwest Platinum credit card has a few tricks up it's sleeve to please. You'll be able to enjoy discounts when you book holidays or work trips through the Natwest Travel Service, where you can get anything from air tickets to hotels, as well as brochure holidays.

Re-open to all new applicants

The Natwest Platinum credit card is now re-open to all applicants again and not just those who are already Natwest current account customers.

To qualify you will have to apply online and you will need to be UK resident, aged 18 or over and earn at least £10,000 a year (pre-tax).

0% Balance Transfers

The Natwest Platinum credit card offers 0% introductory rates on balance transfers for the first 16 months your account is open.

With the Natwest Platinum credit card you can transfer a balance from an existing credit card or store card and benefit from the breathing space of no interest charges on this balance for well over a year. Balance transfers are subject to a balance transfer handling fee of 2.9% with a £5 minimum charge.

To qualify for the promotional offer you will need to transfer any balance within the first 3 months your accout is open.

You'll be able to move up to 95% of your allocated credit limit. Also, bear in mind payments will go towards repaying introductory rates first - so avoid cash withdrawals and purchases if you're using the promotional balance transfer deal.

Travel Helpline

All Natwest platinum card holders are entitled to use the free travel helpline for emergency medical help abroad. The travel helpline can give advice, help track down lost belongings, send and receive messages and also help you forward documents or medical supplies while you're travelling.

If the worse happens and you do become ill or have an accident whilst abroad and need emergency treatment, Natwest will help to arrange transport and also arrange for any dependent children to return to the UK.
